Accidental Burning of Amelia Dullaway  - (died age 5 - 06/04/1918)

Amelia Dullaway died age 5 on the 06/04/1918. Amelia was My Grandads elder sister. On 27th March 1918 my Grandad (Fred - aged 3) and his sister Amelia were left home alone (at 10 Union Street, Croydon, Surrey) while their parents went to work. Neighbours came to their assistance upon hearing screams. They looked through the windows and saw Amelia ablaze. She died in hospital. A verdict of accidental death was delivered by the coroner.
